My message
Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi:
While the Islamic Republic threatens Israel and the United States and beats the drums of war in response to the elimination of the leader of a terrorist organization,
it is unable to provide water, electricity, fuel, and bread for the people of Iran.
For weeks, workers and retirees from various sectors including nurses and healthcare staff, farmers, contractors, and truck drivers across Iran have been protesting and striking. Yet, the incompetent kleptocratic regime is incapable of meeting their legitimate demands.
Iran, a country with immense wealth and a skilled workforce, should never have a problem providing for the basic and daily needs of its people. Its workers, employees, and retirees should not have to demand their rights in the streets. These are the most fundamental duties of a national and effective government in Iran. But the Islamic Republic is neither national nor effective. For this regime, Iran is merely the spoils of war. It has captured Iran and exploits it to use in expanding its destructive Islamist caliphate throughout the region and around the world.
The end of the path the Islamic Republic is taking will be nothing less than further destruction of Iran, more misery for Iranians, and the endangerment of the country’s territorial integrity.
My message to the military, police, and security forces, to the employees and managers of the administrative apparatus, and to that section of society that still stands by this regime because of its religious beliefs is this:
Instead of standing against the Iranian people, stand against the regime. Before the Islamic Republic pushes our homeland into the abyss of annihilation, join the Iranian nation to push the Islamic Republic into the dustbin of history and work towards the re-establishment of a national government in Iran. This will be better for you, your family, the great people of Iran, and the glorious nation of Iran.
Long live Iran,
Reza Pahlavi
